Plans are well under way for the Mumbles Festival of Music and the Arts which will be held in and around All Saints' from Saturday 8th to Sunday 23rd September.

As in previous years the Festival will have something to tempt almost every musical taste; operatic arias, sacred music, musical theatre, jazz, young singers and instrumentalists. Some performers will be back by popular demand.

Festival brochures will be available this month and a full list of the various concerts, services and events will be printed in the September magazine.

We are looking forward to welcoming former Choral Scholar, Ralph Williams, back to All Saints'. He will give a Counter Tenor recital. We will welcome the hugely talented Aderyn String Quartet for their first visit to the Festival. David Collie will be back for his one man Jazz Concert, so too are the Gwalia Singers, Ros Evans, our 'in house' organists, the Swansea Bay Orchestra and Uplands Arts Group. We will also welcome the Llanrhidian Ladies Choir and Pontyclun Cantorian. A highlight of the festival will be a performance of Sir Karl Jenkins' highly emotional work, 'Stabat Mater' by the Church Choir and other singers - which is likely to be a sell out.

Please look out for the festival brochure and support our music team and committee by coming along to some of the events.
