Privacy Law [GDPR]

The 'General Data Protection Regulations' [GDPR] became law at the end of May. This new 'Privacy Law' makes it illegal to share contact information about individuals with a third party without written consent.

This will mean some changes in the way we keep and share information about Church members. The Parish Electoral Roll [list of Church members] will need to be kept locked in the Church office, and we will no longer be able to share contact information [ie. telephone numbers and addresses] without written consent. It will also lead to some necessary changes in our weekly newsletter, monthly magazine and on the website.
